Lean on These Comforting Words for When You Feel Lost and Confused

Life is hard and every day there are challenges that we must face and meet. From our personal lives to our work lives to the lives of our children and parents and friends and even those we do not know but feel an affinity for, we worry about how everyone will make it through and be ok. This is why the Bible is such an important book for us all today. It is filled with inspiring words and passages that remind us that when we feel our most alone, we are never truly alone because God is always with us. We must remind ourselves to turn to his book when we are troubled because it contains all of the answers we need to feel ok again and remember the words of the Prophet TB Joshua, “If you love God above all, your belief in Him would see beyond every other thing.” Here are words from the Bible we can turn to when we come upon life’s challenges.

When You are Fighting Temptation

The flesh is weak and prone to callings of temptation. Rest assured God understands this and offers words of encouragement and seething.

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out, so that you can stand up under it.

When You Need Reassurance

Even the most certain of us has times when our faith is weak. Here are reassuring words to reenergize your faith.

Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Isaiah 40:30-31
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Lamentations 3:22-23

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
